Rabbi Dovid Jenkins is a musmach of the St. Louis Yeshiva, and learned under Rabbi Birenbaum ztz”l at the Mir in New York. He was Associate Rosh Kollel for the Skokie Kollel in Skokie, IL. Rabbi Jenkins entered the kashrut world over 25 years ago as a field representative for the OU. He served as the Executive Director of the OV – Vaad Hoeir of St. Louis, and Kashrut Administrator of the cRc (Chicago) before moving to the East Coast and working as a Kashrut Administrator for the Kof K. In 2005, Rabbi Jenkins formed DSJ Global and launched the new Global Kosher hechsher. He serves as a Kashrut Consultant to the Va’ad HaRabanim of Greater Seattle.
Rabbi Simcha Smolensky has been involved in community kashrut since 1985. Has has worked with the Scroll K (Denver Vaad), Vaad Hoeir of St. Louis, Chicago Rabbinical Council, and Global Kosher, holding holding positions of Mashgiach, IT Manager, Senior Rabbinical Coordinator, and Kashrut Director.
